How to Get to Salema

You can either fly to Lisbon (ca. 4 hours’ drive to Salema) or to Faro (about 1.5  hours’ drive to Salema).

If you want to rent a car here we can make reservations for you at the local travel agency  and you can pick the car up at Faro Airport when you get there (we need to know the arrival time of your flight and the flight number).

When we confirm your stay we will send you a detailed information about how to get to the house.

But if you do not want to hire a car you can get to us .....
a)     by train either from Lisbon or from Faro to Lagos and then by bus
b)     or by taxi from Faro airport or Lagos train station.

The nearest bus stop is in the village of Salema just a short walk down the hill. During the day there are several buses to Lagos or Sagres or resorts along the coast. And there is twice a day a bus service between Lagos and Sevilla (5 hours’ drive).
