The Beaches

WestcoastThe South and Southwest of Portugal is famous for its seascape with bizarre rock formations and hidden caves, sandy beaches in cliff-framed bays alternating with extensive sands.

Praia de SalemaThe villa is only 300 metres down the hill from the beach in Salema where you can find restaurants and little shops. A promenade (seaside walkway) is just being completed.

Praia de FigueiraOne can hike in less than half an hour along cliff paths high above the surf of the sea to some lonely bays to the west and the east of Salema. Beaches for windsurfing are only 15 to 30 kilometres away and are all accessible by car.
